2026 ALPHA Painting Holidays
Paint with Howard Jones in Watercolour in the Vale of Llangollen, where you will paint cascading rivers with rocks, canals, aqueducts and beautiful buildings.
Many of the painting locations are close by, especially the interesting buildings of Plas Newydd and the majestic views of the River Dee at Victoria Promenade where we will paint. We will also visit places such as Valle Crucis Abbey & Eliseg’s Pillar, the magnificent Chirk Castle with its beautiful gardens and Llangollen canal at Pontcysyllte. Subjects will include castles, ruins, bridges, buildings, water, reflections, rocks and the canal.
Howard’s courses are fun and he is an inspiring tutor. He has a relaxed and engaging manner and will put you at your ease in order that you can achieve your potential.
He will use demonstrations and plenty of one-to-one tuition to assist you,

Provence France
Join Howard Jones on this exciting opportunity to paint beautiful French villages and the stunning landscapes in the Luberon region of Provence.
We will paint some of the most beautiful villages in France including Gordes, Rousillon, Cucuron, Lourmarin and Goult. We will also paint the amazing colours of the ochre fields, stunning panoramas, chateaux, gorges, windmills and much more.
You will be truly blown away by the scenery!
